VBS DAY 2

Meet Ava,

the Red-Tailed Hawk.

"You know, it wasn't easy to learn to fly, but I kept hoping that one day I'd figure out how to ride the wind and soar way up in the sky--and I did! Hope helped me not give up, and now, I get to see the world from high above. I'll help everyone remember that JESUS' POWER GIVES US HOPE.""

The volume will need to be adjusted in the various videos.

The power that Jesus gives us also can lift up the spirit of those we don't know, as well.

  • Take a carryout meal to someone who has to stay home.

  • Call a Care Center or retirement home and ask if you can drop off "happy" cards to be delivered to residents.

  • Make fun posters that can be hung in the hallways for residents and staff to enjoy.

  • Sing to residents from the parking lot.

  • Drop off a "care package" with a book or magazine and a small bag of wrapped candy to brighten someone's day.
