Abiding in Christ

When you read John 15:1-11, you notice how often "abide" is repeated. The Greek word meno, which we translate as abide, means to stay, remain, or dwell. What does it mean to abide in Christ? In this series, we will explore the invitation to abide in love as well as the challenge of being pruned in love. This gospel reminds us a harvest will come – that of fruit-bearing love.

Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.
