God’s Relentless Pursuit

Luke 15 is Jesus’ most concentrated revelation of the heart of God—a God who does not wait for the lost to find their way back, but who goes out in relentless pursuit. In these three parables, Jesus dismantles our assumptions about who is “in” and who is “out,” and invites us to see ourselves in the wanderer, the overlooked, and the self-righteous alike. God searches for the sheep no one else notices, who values the coin others might discard, and who welcomes home both the rebellious and the resentful.

For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.
