WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO MWPC?

I first came to Mt Washington Presbyterian Church as a mom, bringing my daughters to the preschool. As my girls got older, I decided it was time for me to return to work and I wanted to get back into education, which has always been a passion of mine. I began teaching at Mt Washington Presbyterian Preschool and spent 5 wonderful years in the classroom. When the opportunity arose to become the Preschool Director, I was excited to step into this new role and continue being part of a place that has meant so much to me.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?

My favorite thing about my job is getting to watch children grow and learn during such an important stage of their lives, while also building strong relationships with families and supporting our teachers as they create a warm, nurturing environment every day.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT YOU?

Outside of school, I am a creative person who enjoys decorating and cooking, and I love finding ways to make spaces and gatherings feel warm and welcoming. I especially enjoy spending time with my daughters, who continue to be the joy and center of my life, as well as spending time with friends and making memories.
